Esteemed Colleagues, Distinguished Faculty, Honourable Guests, and Friends,

It is with profound honour and a deep sense of stewardship that I welcome you to the 35th Malaysian Urological Conference (MUC 2026), convened in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, where tradition and progress stand in enduring dialogue.

This year’s theme, “The Future is Now; Re-affirming Our Role,” speaks not merely to advancement, but to responsibility. We gather at a pivotal juncture in the history of our discipline, an era defined by unprecedented technological evolution, transformative surgical innovation, and the expanding frontiers of precision medicine. Yet, amidst this progress, the essence of our calling remains unchanged: to serve with integrity, to lead with wisdom, and to uphold the highest standards of care for those entrusted to us.

MUC 2026 has been thoughtfully and rigorously curated as a forum of distinction, bringing together eminent minds from across the region and the world.
