Alvin Lee
Dr. Alvin Lee is an Associate Consultant Urologist at the Department of Urology, Singapore General Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS), as well as the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) (Urology). Frederic PANTHIER (MD-PhD) is an academic urologist, working at Tenon Hospital-Sorbonne University in the Urology department chaired by Prof. Olivier TRAXER. His expertise focuses on upper urinary tract endourology (stone, conservative treatment of UTUC and ureteral strictures) and kidney surgery (uro-oncology and benign). His research explores laser and artificial intelligence applications in endourology and takes place at PIMM lab (Arts et Metiers Paris Tech).
Melissa Caruso
Mel is a Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse at Eastern Health in Melbourne Victoria and works for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) as clinical lead of the nursing program. Her work involves coordinating care of men living with prostate cancer, providing support to men and their families at diagnosis, during treatment and beyond. Mel is the current Australian and New Zealand Urological Nurses Society (ANZUNS) president.
Mel has been nursing for 20 years in a variety of clinical settings including outpatients, day surgery, elective surgical, and education.

Benjamin Lim
Dr Benjamin Lim is current a Consultant in the Urology Department, Sengkang General Hospital. He obtained intercollegiate Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS, Ireland) in 2017 and Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow) in 2022. He has completed 6-year residency in Urology with SingHealth and joined the Academy of Medicine, Singapore as a Fellow in 2022.
His interest is in Endourology, Minimally Invasive Surgery and Men’s Health. He is an executive committee member of the Singapore Men’s Health Society and member of the Singapore Urological Association
He is actively involved in the undergraduate and post graduate medical education. He is the Adjunct Lecturer in Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Clinical Instructor in DUKE-NUS Medical School and Clinical Tutor in NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Thomas Chan
Dr. Thomas Chan, a Consultant Urological Surgeon with a special interest in Uro-oncology, Immuno-oncology, Minimally-invasive & Robotic surgery. He started his early career in pharmacy and immunology, earned his Bachelors’ Masters’, Medical, and Doctoral degrees from King’s College London, University College Dublin, and University of Oxford, respectively. He completed his urology training in Singapore in 2020 and attained his FAMS (Urol). He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School & Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine NUS, and Clinical block & Posting Lead (SKH Urology) & Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, NTU. He is an active educator and was the faculty member and Organising Chairman of a variety of courses and workshops held in Singapore. He is a member of the Singapore, Asian, American and European Urological Associations, he has received multiple research awards, including the NRF-MOH PhD Scholarships and top honours at previous Urofair.
Tan Yi Quan
Dr Tan Yi Quan is a Urologist at both Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and National University Hospital. Dr Tan’s subspeciality interests are in Minimally Invasive Stone Surgery, Complex Urinary Stone Disease, and Minimally Invasive Surgical Treatment for BPH.
Dr Tan trained as an Endourology Fellow at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University in 2024 under Professor Zeng Guohua. Dr Tan was awarded the 2025 Japanese Urological Association (JUA) Asian Scholarship to train at Tokai University Hospital in Tokyo, Japan under Professor Sunao Shoji.
Dr Tan currently leads the BPH MIST programme at his centre.
Dr Tan actively contributes to Urology education through regular involvement in various international workshops and conferences. Dr Tan serves as an Associate Member of the Asian Urological Society of Endoluminal Surgery and Technology (AUSET), and as a Youth Committee Member of the International Alliance of Urolithiasis (IAU).
Hery Yanto
Mr Hery Yanto serves as an Assistant Nurse Clinician at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), specialising in men’s health within the Specialty Nursing Department’s Urology Men’s Health Clinic.
After obtaining his Diploma in Nursing from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2005, Hery furthered his education with an Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Medical-Surgical) from the same institution in 2008. In 2011, he was awarded the Courage Fund Scholarship to pursue his Bachelor of Nursing degree at La Trobe University, Australia.
With special interest in the field of andrology, Hery’s primary focus is providing comprehensive care at the Men’s Health Clinic, where he specialises in erectile dysfunction treatment. His responsibilities include conducting thorough pre- and post-operative assessments, patient education, exploring suitable treatment options and penile rehabilitation programme for post radical prostatectomy patient.
In collaboration with the Director of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) Services at SGH’s Urology Department, Hery helped establish a specialised Trial Off Catheter (TOC) clinic for post-prostate surgery/procedure patients. This innovative clinic has streamlined the care transition process, significantly reducing patient waiting times and clinic visits.
Tan Teck Wei
Dr Tan Teck Wei is a urologist in Singapore who specialises in the management of complex urological cancers. He was fellowship-trained at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals in the United Kingdom in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He also specialises in the management of other urological conditions including stones, prostate enlargement, and recurrent urinary tract infections.
To date, Dr Tan Teck Wei has been involved in more than 500 robot-assisted surgeries, building up his volume of cases from his fellowship training days and cementing his expertise in robotic surgery.
Karen Chng
Karen is a Senior Nurse Clinician with the Department of Urology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. With a strong focus on geriatric care, she plays a key role in managing urinary incontinence and supporting patients through counselling.
Karen began her nursing career in 1995 after earning her diploma in Nursing from Nanyang Polytechnic. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Sydney, an Advanced Diploma in Gerontology and a Mater’s in Gerontology from the Singapore University of Social Sciences. In 2012, she received a Ministry of Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) for training in pelvic floor dysfunction in the UK.
Passionate about education, Karen teaches advanced diploma students as a guest lecturer at Nanyang Polytechnic and is actively involved in training nurses in the community on continence care. She was awarded the NHG Inter-professional Teaching Award in 2018 for her contributions to teaching and collaboration. Karen also shares her expertise at local and international conferences, offering insights on continence -related topics.
Chin Chong Min
Dr Chin Chong Min is a Consultant Urologist of 31 years based at Mt Elizabeth Novena Hospital. He is also Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore and Visiting Consultant at National University Hospital, Raffles Hospital and Changi General Hospital.
His urology training included a year at Bristol Urological Institute (BUI) in the United Kingdom (1996-1997), and a residency program in robotic urology at the University of California, Irvine (2005) in USA.
Dr Chin has 20 years of experience in robotic urology and is a designated proctor for robotic surgery. He has delivered many lectures on robotics in urology and demonstrated his technique on robotic prostatectomy overseas.
As a member of the Singapore Urological Association, he held the positions of Vice-President (2007-2008), Honorary Treasurer (2003-2004), Chairman of the Incontinence Subcommittee (2001-2008) and Research Subcommittee (2004-2006).
Seok-Joong Yun
Dr Seok Joong Yun, M.D., Ph.D. is a distinguished urologist and professor at the College of Medicine, Chungbuk National University in Cheongju, South Korea. He earned his Doctor of Medicine, Master of Science in Medicine, and Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine from Chungbuk National University.
Dr. Yun completed his internship and residency in urology at Chungbuk National University Hospital before becoming board-certified by the Korean Urological Association. Following his military service, he held leadership roles in urology departments at Cheongju St. Mary’s Hospital and Cheongju Medical Center.
He joined Chungbuk National University’s faculty as an Assistant Professor and later became a full Professor. He also served as a visiting professor at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas. Dr. Yun has contributed significantly to urologic research, particularly in prostate and bladder cancer, and has held leadership positions in various medical societies, including the Korean Urological Oncology Society and the Korean Urological Research Society.
An active researcher and editor, he has been involved with journals such as Korean Journal of Urology, IC Urology, and Oncology Letters. His dedication to precision medicine and cancer research continues to shape advancements in urology both in Korea and internationally.
Raj Tiwari
Dr Raj Tiwari is a Consultant Urologist and Director of Uro-Oncology at Sengkang General Hospital and Visiting Consultant at National Cancer Center Singapore. He is an assistant professor at Duke-Nus Graduate Medical School. He received his MBBS at the National University of Singapore and completed urology residency at Singapore General Hospital where he was awarded the College of Surgeons Singapore Gold medal in Urology. He then was awarded the FRCS Glasgow Urology diploma. Thereafter he completed a Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) fellowship at the University of Toronto, Canada from 2021 to 2023. He currently manages both general urology and urologic oncology patients performing open, laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
Outside clinical work he actively teaches residents and medical students and also does research in urological cancers with over 50 peer reviewed publications, grants and textbook chapters. He is also an active member of the Singapore Urological Association having been organizing chairperson of several recent regional academic meetings including the recent Singhealth Uro-Oncology Preceptorship and the Urology Residents Course Singapore.
Jinsung Park
Dr Jinsung Park, M.D., Ph.D. is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Urology at Uijeongbu Eulji Medical Center, Eulji University. He also serves as Director of the Robotic Surgery Center and Chief of the Prostate Cancer Center. A leading urooncological surgeon, Dr. Park specializes in minimally invasive and robotic surgery for prostate and kidney cancer, with a strong focus on improving patients’ quality of life.
Dr. Park has led numerous clinical trials funded by pharmaceutical companies and translational research supported by the Korean government. He has held key leadership positions, including Secretary General of the Korean Society of Endourology and Robotics (KSER) and Director of the Robotic Urology Section (KORUS). He is an executive member of multiple international academic societies and serves as a reviewer for the National Research Foundation of Korea.
A graduate of Seoul National University College of Medicine (M.D.) and the University of Ulsan College of Medicine (Ph.D.), Dr. Park trained at Asan Medical Center before joining Eulji Medical Center in 2009. He also worked as a visiting professor at UC San Diego’s Moores Cancer Center, focusing on prostate cancer research.
Jong Soo Lee
Dr. Jongsoo Lee is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Urology, Yonsei University College of Medicine, Severance Hospital, Seoul, Korea. After obtaining his MD from Pusan National University in 2013, he completed his residency and clinical fellowship in urology at Severance Hospital. His clinical and research activities focus on prostate and kidney cancer, robotic surgery, and the integration of artificial intelligence in clinical urology. Dr. Lee actively contributes to multiple academic societies, including leadership roles in the Korean Urological Association , the Korean Prostate Society and the Korean Endourological Society.
Ho Seok Chung
Dr Ho Seok Chung, M.D., Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at Chonnam National University Hospital and Chonnam National University Medical School in Gwangju, Korea.
Dr. Chung is actively involved in academic and professional organizations, serving as the Director of the Cooperation Committee of the Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and Andrology (KSSMA) and the Director of the Information and Public Media Committee of the Korean Society of Endourology and Robotics (KSER). Additionally, he is the Publication Editor for Investigative and Clinical Urology (ICUrology).

Seok Hwan Bang
Dr Seokhwan Bang, M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea. He is an active leader in the urological field, serving as a member of the Ethics Committee of the Korean Urological Association and the Scientific and Advanced Medicine Committees of the Korean Urological Oncology Society. He also holds the role of Director of Education at the Korean Endourology and Robotics Society.
Dr. Bang has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the Korean Urological Association since 2023 and an Executive Member of the Medical Device-Related Infection Committee of the Korean Society for Infections in Urology since 2022. His clinical and research interests focus on urological oncology, robotic surgery, and medical ethics.
Olivier Traxer
Dr Olivier TRAXER is Professor of Urology and Chairman Urology department Sorbonne University Tenon hospital (Paris-France). The Tenon Urology department Sorbonne University is certified by the EndoUrological Society for 1&2 years Fellowship program and EBU host center certified for Stone/EndoUrology, BPH, Incontinence and Neuro-Urology. Professor Traxer is also the director of the GRC#20 (Clinical Research Group #20) at Sorbonne University. He did a research-fellowship at Southwestern Medical School, University of Texas-Dallas-USA (Charles Y.C PAK & Margaret Sue PEARLE) to subspecialize in Endourology and kidney stone management.
As endo-urologist, his main goal is to improve the knowledge on urinary stone disease and endourology. Dr Traxer published more than 570 per-reviewed papers.
Dr Traxer is a board member of: the EndoUrological Society, the French Association of Urology (AFU) and EAU board member of the EULIS and ESUT. He is an active member of AAGUS & AAEU. He was also the treasurer of SIU. He received in 2010 (Chicago-WCE) the Arthur Smith Award and the Ralph Clayman Mentor Award in 2020. In 2022 he received the St Paul Medal at BAUS annual meeting. He was also the president of the World Congress of EndoUrology in Paris 2018 (WCE2018) and became a member of the French Academy of Surgery in 2022. In 2023 he became Honorary Member of the UAA in Dubai. In 2024 he was nominated as new Chair of EAU-Endourology (ESEUT: European Section of EndoUrology and Technology) for EAU.
Kim Tae Hyo
Dr Tae Hyo Kim, MD, PhD is a Professor in the Department of Urology at Dong-A University Medical Center in Busan, Korea. He earned his MD, MS, and PhD from Dong-A University and completed his residency and fellowship in urology at the same institution. Dr. Kim further expanded his expertise through a visiting scholarship at the University of North Carolina, USA.
Dr. Kim plays an active role in the academic and research community, serving as Chairman of the Korean Urology Surgical Research Society and the Hormone Research Society in the Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and Andrology. He is also the Vice Chairman of both the Korean Society of Endourology and Robotics and the International Committee of the Hannam Urological Association, as well as an Executive Director of the Korean Incontinence Society.
With extensive clinical and academic experience, Dr. Kim is dedicated to advancing urological research, education, and innovation on both national and international levels.
Kim Bum Soo
Dr Bum Soo Kim, MD, PhD is a Professor in the Department of Urology at the School of Medicine, Kyungpook National University. He completed his internship and residency at Kyungpook National University Hospital (2004–2009) and gained international experience through a medical observership in Endourology at the Cleveland Clinic, USA (2013), as well as a visiting scholarship in Kidney Regeneration at Jikei University School of Medicine, Japan (2016–2017).
Dr. Kim actively contributes to the urological community through various leadership roles. He serves on the editorial board of Investigative and Clinical Urology and holds board positions within the Korean Urological Association (KUA) in both the academic and international relations committees. Additionally, he is the Chief Director of International Relations at the Korean Society of Endourology and Robotics (KSER) and the Director of International Relations at the Hannam Urological Association (HUA).
As a dedicated researcher and clinician, Dr. Kim is also a member of the Endourological Society (ES), the Society of International Urology (SIU), and the Urological Association of Asia (UAA), furthering his commitment to advancing the field of urology on a global scale.
Frédéric Panthier
Dr Esteban Emiliani earned his medical degree from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. He completed his residency training at Fundacio Puigvert (Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain) obtaining his Fellow of the European Board of Urology. He performed a fellowship in endourology, certified by the Endourological Society at Tenon Hospital (Sorbonne University in Paris, France), alongside Pr Olivier Traxer and at the MPUH hospital (Nadiad, India) with Pr. Mahesh Desai, obtaining later his PhD (International PhD, Cum Laude) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain – Sorbonne University, Paris, France, on laser developments for urolithiasis.

He is currently the Chief of Endourology at NYU Langone – Brooklyn in New York USA. Esteban Emiliani

Steffi Yuen
Dr. Steffi Yuen graduated from the The University of Hong Kong. Since joining the urology faculty team at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and New Territories East Cluster, Dr Yuen’s main area of interest encompasses endourology and minimally invasive surgery.
Her vast exposure gives her first-hand experience in the latest technologies, upcoming trends
and skills in endoluminal endourology. She is excited to bring about this new era of endourology – the innovations of flexible ureteroscopes, next generation of flexible and navigable ureteral access sheaths (FANS), direct in scope suction (DISS) and laser technology, intrarenal pressure (IRP) and intrarenal temperature (IRT) monitoring flexible ureteroscopes and intelligent pressure regulating platforms, as well as the emerging robotic RIRS and PCNL platforms.
Dr Yuen has helped built and pioneered the LUTS/BPE pathway in her hospital cluster, bringing together the whole spectrum of MIST – from Rezum, Urolift, iTIND, Aquablation to enucleation of prostates to LUTS/BPE patients. She is also a certified trainer for Rezum, Urolift and Asia’s first certified trainer for iTIND.
Steffi is involved with urology education, serving as EAU endourology associate member, IAU vice-chairperson of youth committee, AUSTEG core committee member, SIU Innovator and AUSET associate member. She has brought about international exchange and collaborations as a Japanese Urological Association (JUA) scholar and has also completed the International Fellowship in Robotics and Stone surgery at Seoul National University Hospital’s Specialized Endoluminal Endourology & Stone Center. She is an associate member of the core working group of Research & Publications under the EAU section of Endourology.
Jia-Lun Kwok
Dr Jia-Lun Kwok is a Consultant and Endourology Service Lead with the Department of Urology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. He completed advanced training with a one-year Endourology Fellowship at University Hospital Zurich, Switzerland. He has also visited many Endourology centers of excellence worldwide. Dr Kwok’s areas of interest are endourology, stone disease, benign prostate conditions, and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr Kwok is a keen researcher in the field of Endourology, with international collaborations. He is a member of the Progressive Endourological Association for Research and Leading Solutions (PEARLS), Paris, France. He is also an associate member of the Section of EAU Endourology, and the Asian Urological Society of Endoluminal Surgery & Technology (AUSET).
Leading the department Endourology service, Dr Kwok has experience in all aspects of endourological stone disease, including flexible ureteroscopy, suction applications and FANS, across different laser technologies. He has expertise in Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL), including Endoscopic Combined Intrarenal Surgery (ECIRS) and Simultaneous Bilateral Endoscopic Surgery (SBES), with emphasis on short-stay surgery.
Dr Kwok is the Program Director of the National Healthcare Group (NHG) Urology Residency Program. He holds teaching appointments with National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Theng Hoi
Dr. Theng Hoy is a consultant urologist at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He previously served as a consultant urologist at Siem Reap Provincial Hospital. Dr. Theng holds a DFMS in Urology Surgery from Normandy University, France, along with specialized training in microsurgery and endo-urological procedures. His main interests lie in endourology and minimally invasive urological surgery.
Alba Sierra
Alba Sierra del Río is a doctor specializing in endourology. She completed her urology residency at the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona and pursued a year-fellowship in endourology at Hôpital Tenon in Paris. She is currently working as a Junior Assistant at Hospital Clínic of Barcelona. Additionally, she is a member of the European Board of Urology (FEBU), PEARLS group and EAU Section of Endourology (Stone Surgical).
Bhaskar Somani
Bhaskar Somani is a Professor of Urology and a Consultant Endourologist at University Hospital Southampton – MRCS, DM, FEBU, FFSTEd, FRCS (Urol)
Professor Bhaskar Somani is the Clinical Director of ‘South Coast Lithotripter Services’ and a professor of urology at University Hospital Southampton in United Kingdom.
Over the last 15 years his clinical and research work has been covered by BBC, ITV, Daily Mail, The Telegraph and other newspapers and media articles on a number of occasions.
He coordinates the largest hands-on-training simulation course for urology in the world (EAU-EUREP) and is a board member of EAU section of Endourology and European School of Urology (ESU), besides leading the research for both these groups. He is a member of EAU guideline panel for urolithiasis, EAU podcast lead, and on the EAU live surgery and undergraduate urology committees.
He has published over 750 scientific papers, 700 abstracts, and has been invited as a speaker, to perform live surgery, teaching and for moderations in more than 35 countries worldwide. He has raised a grant income of £6 million.
For his work, he has received the ‘Zenith Global Health Award’ Surgical specialties special recognition (2021), ‘Golden Cystoscope’ award by British Association of Urological Surgeons (2021), and ‘Arthur Smith Endourology award’ by Endourological Society (2020).
Tan Guan Hee
Dr. Tan is a Consultant Urologist and Head of Urology at Sunway Medical Centre. He is also a Clinical Professor at the School of Medical and Life Science, Sunway University. Upon completion of urology training in Malaysia, he first enjoyed a fellowship stint at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne. He subsequently gained further experience in uro-oncology at the University of Toronto under the Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship program. Dr. Tan now regularly performs robot-assisted surgery for prostate and kidney cancers. He has a special interest in surgical technology and focuses his research on early detection of prostate cancer.
Daniel Eun
Dr. Eun was born in South Korea and immigrated to the US during grade school. He received B.S in Biology at Pennsylvania State University and then received his M.D. at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. He then completed his urology residency and 18-month minimally invasive urologic robotic oncology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital’s Vattikuti Urology Institute in Detroit, which at that time, was the first established robotic surgery training fellowship in the world. In 2008, he took his first appointment at the University of Pennsylvania and in 2012, Dr. Eun was recruited to his alma mater, Temple University, in Philadelphia.
Dr. Eun currently runs a regional and national high-volume referral practice for robotic treatment of genitourinary oncology as well as complex reconstructive surgery of the kidney, ureter, prostate and bladder. He currently has one of the busiest complex robotic re-operative and reconstructive practices in the world. He has performed approximately 5000 robotic procedures and more than 50 different types of robotic procedures. Dr. Eun is regarded as a thought leader in advanced robotic surgery techniques, robotic procedure innovation and advanced level robotic surgical training. He is widely considered one of the founders of the field of robotic reconstructive surgery.
Since 2008, Dr. Eun has offered fellowship training and currently offers a one-year fellowship in advanced robotic urologic oncology and reconstructive surgery at Temple University Hospital through the Endourologic Society. He has published 150 peer-reviewed journal articles or book chapters and presented nearly 300 research abstracts globally. Dr. Eun has taught numerous robotics masters-level classes, resident/fellow courses in robotics and lectured in over a dozen countries and for numerous international societies and training programs. He has performed over 50 live robotic surgery demonstrations at various international university medical centers and at large conference venues such as the American Urologic Association and North American Robotic Urologic Symposium. In 2015, Dr. Eun was appointed as an honorary Professor of Urology at Nanchang University in the People’s Republic of China for his numerous teaching contributions. In 2023, he received a medal of commendation from the Republic of Uzbekistan’s Minister of Health for contributions to help improve the national health system. He has recently edited the first text book on robotic reconstructive surgery as one of the founders of this newly burgeoning sub-specialty of urology.
As director of Temple’s Advanced Robotic Urologic Surgery Fellowship Training Program and Chief of Robotic Surgical Services, Dr. Eun is an active member of the teaching faculty of Temple University School of Medicine, working closely with medical students, residents and fellows.
Thitipat Hansomwong
Dr. Thitipat Hansomwong is an Assistant Professor of Urology at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, in Bangkok, Thailand. His clinical and research interests primarily focus on kidney transplantation, robotic surgery, and minimally invasive reconstructive surgery. Dr. Hansomwong has gained extensive experience in kidney transplantation, including both deceased and living donor transplants, while also exploring the benefits of robotic-assisted surgery in urological procedures.
As a passionate advocate for advancing surgical techniques, Dr. Hansomwong is particularly focused on improving patient outcomes through minimally invasive methods. He has contributed to numerous academic publications and actively mentors residents and fellows, fostering the next generation of urologists in Thailand.
Kuncoro Adi
Kuncoro Adi is a consultant of trauma and reconstructive urology in AMC Hasan Sadikin Hospital-Padjadjaran University, Bandung, Indonesia. After finishing urology in Indonesia University, Jakarta in 2007, he become an urologist in Bandung. He did some clinical observer-ship in urethral reconstructive surgery in high volume center in Kulkarni Institute in Pune India and in University College London Hospital-NHS, United.
In 2014 he got subspecialty qualification of trauma and reconstructive urology by Indonesian Board of Urology. He is one of the founding Boards members and the previous president of InaGURS (Indonesia Genitourinary Reconstructive Urology Section) 2015-2023, a group under IUA (Indonesian Urological Association) that focused on the evidence base development of reconstructive urology, especially in urethral reconstructive field. He is also board member of Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (GURS) since 2023. Current position is Fellowship Program Director of Trauma and Reconstructive Urology in Hasan Sadikin Hopital, Bandung and Indonesia secretary general of Indonesian Urological Association.
Christopher Wallis
Christopher J.D. Wallis is a Urologic Oncologist at the University of Toronto and Mount Sinai Hospital/University Health Network. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of British Columbia and his Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Epidemiology & Health Care Research from the Institute of Health Policy, Management & Evaluation at the University of Toronto. He completed his clinical residency in Urology at the University of Toronto and his Society of Urologic Oncology accredited fellowship training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
To date, he has more than 250 publications in peer-reviewed journals including The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), The Lancet, The BMJ, Lancet Oncology, JAMA Oncology, and many others. He is currently an Editorial Board member for European Urology, The Journal of Urology, and PloSOne. His research focuses on leveraging epidemiologic techniques to understand outcomes and care pathways for patients with cancer and those undergoing surgery.
Tai-Lung Cha
Dr. Cha is the Distinguished Investigator and Director of the National Institute of Cancer Research, National Health Research Institute, Professor of the Division of Urology, Department of Surgery, TSGH, NDMC, as well as Jointly Appointed Professor of Genomics Research Center, Academia Sinica. Dr. Cha received his MD degree from the School of Medicine, National Defense Medical Center in 1990. He got his PhD degree from GSBS, The University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2005.
Upon his return to Taiwan, he served as a surgeon-scientist dedicated to cancer diagnosis and treatment, along with his active participation in international anti-cancer drug development clinical trials worldwide, which has afforded him a profound understanding of the entire spectrum of cancer research. During his tenure as the full professor of the National Defense Medical Center, he was invited to be the convener of the Department of Nephrology, Urology, and Metabolism at the National Science Council, he possesses a comprehensive understanding of the nation’s scientific research direction and key points that would contribute to the advancement and connection of the basic and clinical research.
Dr. Cha has played numerous leadership roles in medicine and research. He served the Presidentship in NDMC and is a member of the Taiwan Medical Education Evaluation Committee, he strives to align Taiwan’s medical education with international standards collaboratively. Additionally, his involvement in the Medical Policy Council, directorship and supervision of the Health Policy Council, and roles in the National Innovation Award’s academic research and corporate innovation committees. He hasserved as the director of the Acer Foundation and the Revitalization Hospitals. He received the 2021 National Excellent Teacher Award from the Ministry of Education and was listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2021. Dr. Cha’s research interests concentrated on unraveling the mechanisms of cancer metastasis and progression and discovering innovative cancer treatments. His lab uncovered a novel cancer mitochondrial regulatory mechanism and identified a drug combination targeting this mechanism. This study was transferred to a biotechnology company.
After completing pre-clinical animal toxicity testing, this new drug combination obtained IND approval in Taiwan and the United States. Dr. Cha initiated and completed a Phase I clinical trial to assess the drug’s safety and preliminary efficacy for patients with advanced kidney cancer and other cancers resistant to multiple drug treatments. The biotechnology company collaborated with six medical centers in Australia for Phase I and Phase IIa clinical trials, leading to the prestigious 13th National Innovation Award. Over the past decade, Dr. Cha’s Lab identified a novel G protein-coupled receptor, mediating the evolution of cancer metastasis in various cancer types. Dr. Cha elucidated the fundamental molecular mechanisms governing the transition of cancer cells from paracrine to autocrine signaling regulation through the novel GPCR pathway.

Chu Ann Chai
Dr. Chai Chu Ann is a consultant urologist specialising in Endourology and Andrology, currently practicing at University of Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur. His professional journey includes completing an Andrology Fellowship program in Edinburgh, Scotland, after obtaining his Master of Surgery qualification in 2018, followed by his FRCS urology training in 2022.
Dr Chai has pioneered and established the combined Uro-Gynae Male Infertility service and microTESE surgery at University Malaya. with numerous publications in well-regarded international journals, he was awarded the 2024 IAU Distinguished Young Urologist Award and is currently serving as the Co-Vice-Chairman of the IAU Youth Committee.
Rajeev TP
Dr. Rajeev T. P. is the Director and Chief Consultant Urologist at Medicity, Guwahati, Assam, India, and the Hon. Secretary of the Urological Society of India. He is an expert in Laser Urology, Laparoscopic Urology, Endo-Urology, and Onco-Urology.
Dr. Rajeev was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal for M.Ch. Urology from AIIMS, New Delhi, and has received multiple recognitions, including the Best Paper Awards from both the Urological Society of India (USI) and the East Zone Chapter of USI. He also won the Quiz Prize at the USI East Zone Chapter.
He has been awarded the Travel Fellowship by both the Urological Society of India and the East Zone Chapter. Additionally, Dr. Rajeev has contributed to academia as a Visiting Professor at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA.
Ranjith Ramasamy
Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy is a renowned reproductive urologist specializing in male fertility, sexual dysfunction, and microsurgery. With extensive training and experience in the United States, he has made significant contributions to the field through clinical practice, research, and education. Currently based in Dubai at First IVF and Jumeirah American Clinic, he is dedicated to advancing male reproductive health in the region.
Dr. Ramasamy is involved in clinical trials and cutting-edge research, including AI-driven sperm selection, regenerative medicine with PRP, and optimizing microTESE outcomes. He has published more than 500 peer-reviewed articles. He received the Gold Cystoscope Award from the American Urological Association.

Alexander Haese
Dr. Alexander Haese is a distinguished Professor of Urology and the Director of the Robot-assisted Urologic Surgery Program at the Martini-Clinic Prostate Cancer Center, University Clinic Hamburg-Eppendorf, Germany. With over 25 years of experience in urology and specialized expertise in robotic-assisted surgery, Dr. Haese is recognized as a leading figure in the field.
Dr. Haese has been an integral part of Martini-Clinic since 2008, having completed close to 5000 robot prostatectomies and has trained over 150 surgeons across 11 countries as a proctor for Intuitive Surgical.
His pioneering work in the early detection and management of prostate cancer has earned him numerous accolades, including the G.E. Konjetzny Prize of the Hamburg Cancer Society. Dr. Haese has also contributed to advancing scientific understanding through his research and has been awarded fellowship grants to work at Johns Hopkins University, focusing on the role of human glandular kallikrein 2 in prostate cancer.
An accomplished researcher, he has published extensively and serves as a reviewer for leading urology journals. Dr. Haese is a member of several professional organizations, including the German, European, and American Associations of Urology, underscoring his commitment to advancing the field both nationally and internationally.
Suman Chapagain
Dr. Suman Chapagain is a consultant urologist specializing in endourology, reconstructive surgery, uro-oncology, female and pediatric urology, and andrology, with a focus on laparoscopic urology and renal transplantation.
He completed his MCh in Urology from the Institute of Medicine, TU, in 2015 and his MS in General Surgery at BPKIHS in 2011. He has trained at leading institutions like Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital and Christian Medical College during his MCh.
Dr. Chapagain has presented at conferences, conducted workshops, and published in national and international journals. A member of several medical associations, he is currently an Assistant Professor of Urology at TUTH, IOM.
